How much?
When feeding your dog raw, feed them 2%-3% of their body weight daily based on life stage and energy requirements. For puppies and lactating females, 4%-6% of body weight daily. For older less active dogs 1.5%-2% of body weight daily.
Transitioning your pet
When transitioning your pet to a raw diet, start by adding a small amount of raw to their current food and every day increase the amount of raw while decreasing the old food. This process should take between a few days to a week. As your dog becomes used to the raw food you will notice changes in their stool, primarily a decrease in volume. Instead of the large, mushy piles of waste that kibble produces, the stool will become smaller and firmer.

Mixing Raw with kibble?
While we will always recommend feeding all raw, some raw is better than none. You can absolutely mix it in with kibble, or any other dog food, just make sure to pay attention to how much of each food so your dog is getting the correct amount.
